Focus on You
Throughout the last several years, I have had the opportunity to meet hundreds of very successful entrepreneurs. One characteristic they all had in common was their drive, persistence and commitment to personal /business development.This weekend I had the pleasure of attending a workshop called "Building Wealth Through Relationships" presented by Hidden Wealth Masters, Kane Minkus and Jeffery Slater. This innovative workshop not only reminded me of the importance of goal setting, mastering your communication skills and building rapport with potentials clients, they also discussed how your family historical patterns can impact your ability to achieve your desired results. (Great content with very energetic presentations!)
Somewhere in between scribbling down my financial goals and practicing my "Escalator Speech" I realized this was the first time in almost 10 years I had attended a seminar as a participant. At times it was a bit of a stretch for me, moving in and out of my comfort zone, but as a result..I walked away with new friends, a renewed vision of my future and an energized sense of self.
On the very first day we were asked to write down our goals. As the crowd began to share aloud a theme around wealth emerged. Many wanted to be wealthy, however they could not articulate what exactly that was, or how it would impact their lives. With further discussion Jeffery shared with us that it was not the money we all desired, it was the experience the money would bring to us. "Results are a strategy to have an experience." The experience of choices, freedom of time, security for our families and the power of independence.
Investing in yourself by continuing to improve your personal or business skills will have a positive impact on your future. Take the time to attend a workshop or seminar, you might have forgotten how rewarding it can be!
